Taking the first steps to attending counseling is no small feat. As a counselor, I strive to provide my clients with empathy, acceptance, and understanding. I believe in empowering my clients to make their own choices while using therapy as a way to reflect upon those choices. Together, we will engage in self-exploration, creating a safe space for you to grow.
I graduated from University at Albany and SUNY Oswego, studying for my Bachelor's in Psychology and Master's in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, respectively. These programs allowed me to work with a diverse population using individual and group therapy. I have worked with various counseling styles, including child-centered play therapy, person-centered counseling, motivational interviewing, expressive arts therapy, solution-focused counseling, and cognitive-behavioral therapy. As a counselor, I will work with you, giving you the autonomy to utilize counseling how you see fit.
