If you’ve been struggling with some sort of problem in your life and you’ve decided to begin utilizing therapy, then you have already taken the biggest step. Sometimes problems can be “in your face”, or they can be those that silently begin to build up until they become unmanageable. Either way, speaking with a therapist can provide an alternative perspective to help you come to the solution you’ve been looking for. That’s what my goal is; to help you find the best solution for YOU.
Whether you are a child or an adult that is struggling with anxiety, depression, substance use, low self-esteem, PTSD, or trauma, I believe that I can be helpful to you. Through the use of Solution-Focused Therapy, CBT (cognitive behavioral therapy), and DBT (dialectical behavioral therapy), we can work together to find ways to help you become the best version of yourself. My therapy strategies have been guided by research and the many different areas of work that I have been in, including nursing homes, residential treatment centers, and psychiatric hospitals.
We all have experiences in our lives that try to knock us down, but with each situation and goal we achieve, we become stronger and more resilient. My objective is to help you feel more empowered to face any situation that life may throw at you, and feel confident in your abilities to do so. It’s important to remember that you are not in this alone.
